ElevenLabs releases a new AI-powered music-generation app
Voice AI company ElevenLabs has quietly released an iOS app called ElevenMusic that can be used to create music with AI and discover AI-generated music in order to compete with platforms like Suno and Udio.
The company sees tools that use AI to create music and other mediums as a way to grow and protect itself from the eventual commoditization of AI audio models.
Users can also adjust the length of the song, if the song has lyrics, and the writing style.
Users can discover songs created by others and remix them using text prompts.
These remixes would also count toward their daily limit. The app has live stations, pre-created albums, and daily mixes with different moods such as Focus, Energy, Relax, Late Night, Cosmic, and Chill. And just like other music-streaming apps like Spotify and Apple Music, there are top charts, trending now, and new releases sections.
The company is also offering a Pro tier for $9.
This subscription will enable users to create up to 500 tracks every month, give storage space of over 500 GB, and provide access to all kinds of styles and moods.
Last August, the company released its first music-generation model, which it claimed to be commercially safe. Earlier this year, the company also partnered with top music producers to release an album created with the help of AI. The startup recently released a creative tool that can handle ad generation, voice-overs, translation, image generation, video making, voice cloning, sound creation, and more
