RSPCA says 250 dogs found crammed into one home
Rescuers have found more than 250 poodle-cross dogs living in a single home, the RSPCA has said.
The animal welfare charity said the numbers and living conditions of the dogs, discovered at an undisclosed location in the UK, "had rapidly grown out of control amid extenuating family circumstances".
Radcliffe Animal Centre in Nottingham, which took in some of the dogs, said they arrived with "severely matted" coats and sore skin.
"We understand that people are so aghast they don't believe what they are seeing.

The RSPCA said it was unable to share additional information about the owners' circumstances, but added they had reached out because they were "overwhelmed".
