Twenty-one have since been discharged, the hospital's management said in a statement on Friday night. Three remain there "under observation", it added, while three seriously injured people have been transferred to hospitals in neighbouring Tenerife.
Head of emergency operations in La Gomera Héctor Cabrera told public broadcaster TVE the bus passengers had been "staying at a resort" on the island.
The bus was travelling on the GM-2 road before crashing in to the ravine.
It fell from a height of around 10m, according to El Mundo.
"We are in touch with the local authorities and ready to support Brits and their families," she added, sharing details of the Foreign Office contact numbers. President of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, offered his "support to the victims and their families"
