UK announces first Middle East repatriation flight
The UK government has chartered a repatriation flight out of Oman to help British nationals who want to leave the Middle East, as attacks continue to take place across the region.
Thousands of flights have been cancelled, and many British citizens who would like to leave remain stuck in the region. Announcing the flight, the Foreign Office asked that British nationals who have previously registered their presence in the UAE but are are now in Oman to "urgently" fill out a form if they would like a seat on the charter flight.
A number of people have told the BBC that there has been a lack of information about available routes to travel home.
