'I held down Golders Green suspect' says volunteer who grabbed ankle
A volunteer has described how he chased and restrained the suspect in Wednesday's Golders Green stabbing attack that left two men in hospital.
He said he immediately saw a man with blood on his head. He told the BBC he then saw the suspect, remarking that "if eyes could kill, I'd be dead".
He said the suspect was "walking slowly, casually" but that he saw the blade in his hand. Isaac said he was screaming at members of the public to stay out of the way.
Officers used a Taser to bring him to the ground, but the suspect continued to hold onto the knife so Isaac and another volunteer moved in to help.
He said a passerby and the police were then able to take the knife out of the man's hand.
He believed his actions helped protect others and said he felt "amazing for saving the community and saving lives"
