Local associations, such as The Sameer Project, are doing what they can to support Gaza’s residents.
It is imperative for us or another NGO to replace these tents, as they have a very limited lifespan.
They often last no more than a single month.
The tents currently on the market are unfortunately of poor quality, but we have no other choice.
We buy the tents at exorbitant prices – 500 shekels apiece, that’s 200 to 250 dollars per unit.
The Sameer Project has set up medical clinics that treat up to 650 patients a day.
